Coaching for Medical Specialty Boards is a unique program for physicians developed by Dr. Linda Carr, a Medical Educator and Professional Learning Coach. Linda offers this program to residency programs as a 90-minute interactive presentation. Linda helps ease the board preparation process by assessing readiness for boards and providing resources and strategies to increase the chance for success. The program is based on best evidence practices as well as years of successfully coaching physicians in many specialties* at various levels of board preparation.

  • A 90-minute interactive PowerPoint presentation, customized for the group and the specialty
  • Handout material for residents that includes tips, tools, and techniques to guide board preparation
  • An outline of the presentation that residents can complete during the interactive presentation to aid their learning
  • Addresses four critical areas related to board preparation: Learning How to Learn, Time Management, Test Taking Strategies, and Stress-Anxiety Reduction
  • Fee is $600 (does not include travel or lodging, if required)
